Tips and Tricks for Improving your Zoom/Teams Meetings

Below are brief video tutorials to show you how to adjust the settings in Zoom/Teams and how to test those devices before the meeting starts. Should you have any further questions please let us know so we can provide support.

Overall tips to improve your meeting:

Use Dedicated Headphones (With or Without a Microphone):
    • Why: Dedicated headphones can significantly enhance audio quality by reducing background noise and echo.
    • Tip: Invest in a good pair of headphones with a built-in microphone for the best audio experience. If your headphones don’t have a mic, ensure your computer’s microphone is positioned well.
Mute Yourself When Not Speaking:
    • Why: Selecting the wrong audio source can lead to poor audio quality or no sound at all.
    • Tip: Before joining a call, check and select the appropriate audio input and output devices in your Teams or Zoom settings. Test the devices to confirm they are working correctly.
